I checked it out and, yeah, you need to file a form declaring your intention to retain the citizenship. So you're not equal under the law – literally a second class citizen. Irish "citizenship" is more like the US green card, which gives you almost equal rights to the citizens but you can't just move to another country with it and neglect it without consequences. I know that Asian countries are not big on naturalization, but Ireland??

  7. You've mentioned it a few times in the past but not anything up to date about Brexit for UK citizens. We're now in the position we can grab a residency in any EU country to maintain residency in at leat that country, but potentially gain citizenship a few years down the line (it seems this is a one off chance where the rules are relaxed uniquely for Brits, there will be no need for financial commitments). The question is, for Brits who can take their pick of 27 other nations to grab a residency before the end of the year, which might be best in regards to all the things you talk about – taxes, regulations, naturalising, and supporting the nomad capitalist lifestyle of relative freedoms or options?

What would be the fastest and cheapest way to get into Italy. I think you have a good idea off our new laws that is coming into effect February 2021.
