Home Residency in Schengen How to Buy EU Citizenship

How to Buy EU Citizenship

For some reason, people all around the world just love the idea of having a European passport and all the benefits that go with it.

Unfortunately, the process of getting it is, in most cases, rather complicated, slow and expensive, but there are some ways to speed things up:

1:28 – Citizenship by investment programs (CBI) in Malta and Cyprus where you’ll need to invest a lot of money in real estate, bonds, and give other donations, but the process will be rather fast in comparison to other options;

4:00 – Golden Visa residency programs in different European countries. Our favorite is Portugal, where you don’t have to invest a lot of money, only a basic level of the Portuguese language is required and you can become naturalized in 6 years in total;

6:37 – New CBI programs in Montenegro and Moldova that may be your wild-card strategy, since they’re still not part of the European Union, but it’s expected that they’ll become so in the near future.

  1. I am a nurse living in England with British citizenship. We have a property in France but we are now thinking about permanently moving there.
    Any advice in the application of the French citizenship please. We have been paying our council taxes for three years now.

  2. is it ok just invest in a property and invest in their government bond to avail of their citizenship program without staying in their country? example my plan is to get in and out of that country and stay only for a month.

  3. Yes, I would want a EU Citizenship for the Government of the Union. I'm interested in the Euro, the currency, Eu citizenship. EU lifestyle, and new friends for the relationship of the Europe. Their community is working great. Andrew Henderson, your program rocks in the way you give many examples on the EU work with everyone on what they wan to do in becoming part of the community of the Green Strategy Program that Von Der Leyen is making the difference of helping people out. Thank for the Explanation Andrew Henderson.

  4. In Greece, if you buy 250k euro real estate (a house/residence, many prefer in islands) you get the golden visa and then you go wherever you want in EU. And of course you keep the house for summer vacations.

  5. Norman Capitalist. You're video is a helping tool for my adventure. I admire your commons on what yo do and how it actually works. I appreciate your help on getting the Passport of my citizenship wants and immigration needs. This guide is a map of technology that helps me to get where I need to go and find the treasure of what I need. I like it very much. You know everything alot more then anyone else dose. I'm got to give you the tip that you're 100% best expert in the world of Global Citizenship and Naturalzation of Immigration.

  6. Actually all ways you said are harder than just get a visa and live a few years in the country. In Spain if you are from Latin America in 2 years living legally you can apply(need to have basic spanish and ccse exam). In Ireland 5 years having a permit you can apply.

  7. If you have at least one Jewish parent or grandparent (and the documents to prove it), you could also apply for Israeli citizenship, but I'm sure anyone who's Jewish already knows this! Israel is very happy to gain new Jewish citizens, you even get a nice 'stimulus package' of various benefits for immigrating.
    Downside – they will draft your children to the army… or you, if you're young enough.

  8. As an Italian citizen with EU citizenship, I find the concept of "buying citizenship" extremely distasteful! Cultural identity and commitment for the betterment of one country should be the focal point. Obviously, buying citizenship for economic reasons is a grave injustice and an abuse of citizenship! If you want European Union citizenship, come here and learn the language and culture, go through the process of legal immigration and apply for citizenship, and be committed to the European Union !

  9. Or you can come on in a dingy from Libya…Then you immediately get benefits such as housing, healthcare, and education…you dont even need to work…you cant beat that…

  10. WTH would anyone want to live in Europe? Of course, if you want to use your taxes to help the 3rd world migrants who are turning the EU into a shithole, then go ahead. But most ambitious Europeans either hope the EU disintegrates or to escape from it to America or even Canada etc.

  11. I love the content, but the intro is way too long for that short format. You should keep the last shot with the channel name and show the extended version only in the videos over 10 minutes.

  12. Heheheheheheheh !
    If it takes 5 years to get the E.U passport it is only worthwhile if you want to live in Germany or France because in 5 years time they will be the 2 only remaining member states.

  13. There is a very cheap way to became an E.U. citizen but…it is called re-naturalisation and Hungary , Romania and Bulgaria have it for shure . If your grandmother or grandfather lost their citizenship and fled persecution from communists for example you couldon be on a fast track and almost free to become an E.U. citizen . For those who have Hungarian ancestry is even easier since hungary lost 2/3 of their teritory in 1919 so a lot of Hungarians lost their citizenship…and Hungary is in shengen space !!! …for example a lot of Hungarians who were born in Ukraine got their Hungarian citizenship in less than a year without even ever setting foot on Hungarian soil .

  14. Germoney requires that non-EU citizens applying for German citizenship renounce their original citizenship. That is a very hard pill to swallow for Americans, Canadians, Australians, etc. This requirement doesn't apply to Turks and Israelis though. It truly begs the question though: what does it even mean to be "German" today anyhow…and why so strict, given reality on the ground?

  15. Thank you so much andrew for always enlightening us ✨can you share more about Argentina citizenships program as an investor or self employed and is it worth it ? Thanks
